Don’t be so stupid. It’s usual that black lads stick together. When they go on holiday in Spring when we’re out of the FA Cup there’s always at least one group of black players in Dubai or somewhere. They may not even be in the team but they’re in the group. Strikers train together, keepers train together, Dutch players speak the same language. I’ve not recently known of black players having to work, train, socialise away from, or not being able to communicate with white players, but unfortunately it’s how things go outside of office professional life, or jobs like in the staff room at school, unless you look out of the staff window and onto the playground, or take your head out of your &rse.

In what world do you think it is acceptable to do this in a public place.

It is abhorrent and if someone did that who I was out with I would like what are you doing.

It can be done in a humorous way but anyone with half a brain in or out the media spotlight knows it is not acceptable.

The amount of people trying to pass this off is mental. Him lying about it makes it worse.

He should have just said it was a very very bad attempt at humour and even used the Fawlty Towers line and accepts it was wrong and will accept any punishment.

The poster made a weird comment about the seating arrangements on a topic about Nazi salutes. Very f*cking weird comment if you ask me. I wasn't suggesting that the black players don't predominantly socialise with each other away from the game, but to reference the divide between black and white players on a topic about a Nazi salute?
