Crazy idea, but I'd put JRS in the middle. He would have finished the Mateta chance 19 out of 20 times. Maybe 20.

You've got to wonder if flair is being trained out of our young home grown players, you can almost see it happen as soon as they get near the first team. Safety first.

Frustrating, but this team are leaving everything out there. They look knackered, fair play to them in my book whatever the result!

It's not their fault the owners aren't giving us a full squad.

I think that has long been the case across our footballing world, not just Palace.

by my reckoning, Forest have stronger players but we have a stronger manager
