It’s all a front to help conceal a new financial system being implemented. XRP digital asset has now got legal clarity and is no longer considered a security. Now with talk of cyber attacks and what not, problem reaction solution to help bring about what Bitcoin has been used for years to do for this very moment : it was used as a testing ground asset whilst xrp was fine tuned.

Brics nations breaking away from the west. Xrp is in usa but blockchain isn’t centralised so it can be used globally and is.

Written in the stars and the ship is about to sail.

Stop falling for MSM narratives.

This is a financial transition and they are ALL on the same side.

Is this the reason Heinz Ketchup is so expensive right now? People say the supermarket’s own is basically the same and you can’t tell the difference which on one level I find to be true but on another, deeper level, you can’t help but shake the disappointment and what you know to be the truth and before long you start wondering what else you’ve been lying to yourself about? The other day, I woke up about 3am, took a black felt tip pen out of the cupboard and wrote the number 57 on the side of a Morrisons own ketchup before just having a complete breakdown in the kitchen. Is this all linked to what you’re saying? I only ask as I can’t make heads nor tails of what you’re saying or even more loosely what hat the general point you’re arriving at is?

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

2 civilians were killed + a 14-year-old girl was injured (her parents were killed) on the attack on the Crimea bridge.

If our intelligence and/or security services were involved in enabling this attack I regard it as regrettable and misuse.

The prospect of 'losing' Crimea, must now be in Russia's leaderships minds. This would bring military action - or perchance negotiations- to the fore.

It's quite evident that Russia are prepared for fighting for at least another year, possibly two.

Probably the best chance for negotiations would come with a 2024 Trump win. It's quite difficult to see Biden or our current leaders having any influence over Putin.

I maintain that the best deal that Ukraine had was in March/April 21 and that was squandered. I believe that time will show that to be the case.

I see that the sanctions the West have imposed are actually benefitting Russia and have a detrimental impact on the West. Hi grain, oil and gas prices across Europe.
Negotiations are always tricky, because, for example, Hitler just ignored any outcomes. There's always the chance that a negotiated settlement would see mission-creep by Russia. That's why military action, a show of force, is perhaps needed so parties keep to any settlement.
All the while the conflict continues, Russia (and China) get richer ££. Failing military strength might bring Russia to negotiations, but while the money is rolling in, there is no reason to stop.

Hitler wanted his war with communism at any cost as he saw it as existential to Germany.....there's some irony there in my view. Anything that stopped that war would be fought.

I agree, sanctions have been a backfire and are more about virtue signalling by the wealth class....who don't suffer any of the ill effects.....than any effective way of stopping this war.

I think the Minsk agreements showed that 'mission creep' is hardly exclusive to Russia and both Russia and Nato would use that negotiation to build up defences and military.

However, it's important to recognise that it's the terms of the negotiation that matter and any proper settlement would involve demilitarised zones. The UN could supervise, with the make up of that supervision being as objective as possible.

I would hope that a settlement....which would probably require a new US administration would bring genuine efforts to rid us of cold war and a growing China/Russia/Brics division in the world. What is happening is only negative to us....and them.

There are some positives

Russia is seeing some of its long-term prisoners killed in combat
Defence companies are trying out their hardware in the battlefield, and getting well paid for it.

Basic summary for people: the French and German stuff is crap. Bradley's too lightly armoured and complicated. Unsurprisingly, no amount of stuff is enough.
The Russian stuff and tactics are crap. Tactics improving. The tanks are particularly poor - which was already discovered in Iraq. Morale is generally ignored.
Supply and logistics poor on both sides.

Yep, there's always a winner somewhere no matter how bad the general result for most.

It tends to be for those with means.....as we are seeing with the scramble for AI at the moment.

We all knew it was coming but the use of drones and automated weapons systems are increasingly taking over the battlefield. It seems the attack on the Crimea bridge was entirely automated.

There are conflicting reports on the drones. To summarise they seem more useful when cheap and lo tech - used for observation and target acquisition by localised troops (largely Ukrainian) in general. Large high tech drones have the jury out - mainly through mission connectedness, reliability and expense.
A lot of military issues overall, on both sides come from how things are being used, lack of communications and lack of integration and cohesiveness.
Russia has a famously ponderous command whilst many Ukrainian commanders lack any experience and much training. Some high tech weapons systems take a year or more to learn, let alone master.

Which is the actual insanity about this entire situation from day 1.

This 'war' is nothing more than a US-inspired move to basically weaken Europe. Germany was on the cusp of securing Russian gas without it having to transit through Ukraine. And now...
