Remember the tall blonde fella from about block C chase after the skinny Pompey lad with almost '70s looking ankle swingers and boots on? I think it might have been the 0-0 under DF, 3 days after the Reading 0-0 at home. Pompey lad on halfway line, Palace lad chases himall the way to Arfur/WH Lane corner flag and up the steps.

OK, he was a t*** to run on the pitch but we all do stupid things in our teens. Luckily the steward did his job and hopefully this will be the end of it.

I have no idea if he was a member of the HF, in fact I have no idea if they have a membership. However this could be used against them as a group or us as a whole set of fans, which is a shame.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

If the bloke is part of the HF(he was dressed in black and looked as if he came from Block B)then he really has done the HF no favours.

The HF may well be complaing about their treatment by the OB by looking at that banner that was out last night, that bloke is justifying why the OB gives them grief.

2 steps forward...1 step back

So what if he was wearing black? If he was wearing a turban would you categorise all sikhs and hindus as football hooligans?

1 more Nigel...having a pop at the HF.

Doesn't apply or make sense as he hasnt said or even implied that the HF in general are 'football hooligans'. All he's said is that if the bloke is one of their 'tribe' then they're doing themselves no favours.

I think what hes saying, and to use your analogy, is...if a turban-wearing bloke from a a small turban-wearing section of the crowd ran onto the pitch and the small turban-wearing section snuck him back into their section, then the turban-wearing section would be doing themselves no favours especially if there was a sub-plot going on where the turban-wearers felt they were being unfairly picked on in a totally unrelated matter. No implications as to all turban-wearers being hooligans. Just a bit silly of the turban-wearers.

Or am just having a Nigelistic pop at the turban-wearers?

Do you write analogies for a living?

Would anyone name and shame The Wilton mob, then or now?

This is like watching the Neighbourhood Watch meetings on that sh1tty sit com with Richard Briers and that drippy couple in the early '80s, 'Ever Decreasing Circles.'

Leave it up to those in power to decide what they want to do.

Great bit of footage here showing the lad being hauled off the pitch, but more importantly the angry goalie ranting at the ref then throwing his gloves on the ground like a child having a tantrum...

[Link]

Can't see much of the guy running on the pitch but it was close to me and I can say for sure he was at the front of block C not that it matters much.

What did the Hull player mean when he went to the steward and held up six fingers and pointed to the corner area?

Not sure what he said but wasn't it Livermore the cheating w*nker who helped get Bolasie sent off with his theatrics in the away game.

Shame another palace fan didn't jump over and have a crack at punching him in the face.

Whoever the numpty was, he completely destroyed any chance the HF had of their banners to be taken seriously !

Doesnt reflect well on us, but not up for naming and shaming although if hes on twitter bragging about it hes clearly a prize tw@t and personally I'd rather he went and joined Millwall / Charlton as he'd fit right in...

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely
