From our perspective it was a good night, quite a few players getting much needed game time and 2/3 wins this season, probably would have taken that before a ball was kicked this season. From a neutral perspective It'll be interesting to see how the Vieira era goes for you. Some tough fixtures coming up and very hard to climb back up once you fall behind, as we learnt. That said, I think you'll be more than fine Daughter is a Watford fan therefore she's happy claiming bragging rights in the household. All the best for the next round Watfordfc!

Like others I listened to Watford feed. Not gonna panic over this. It sounded like it was anyone’s game to win and they found the way. I actually think we will come through our tough schedule ahead with something. Ffs we are 3 matches in and people want to pull the plug. Palace is going to make some moves yet, and 1-2 more in January and end up mid table poised for a great next season.

True but it’s rarely a Carabao Cup match in August! Still ‘Work in Progress’ I would say. I heard that he had the changing room door locked for an hour after the game. Either he wasn't pleased with the players or it's the other way round.

Didn’t PV say he was putting out his strongest team?

Played 3. No goals. We have one week. Will be surprised if much happens based on history. It’s not complicated. Score goals you win matches. Over to you SP. Time waits for no man. Not on our side now.

..and now top of the table West Ham away. With trio Benteke, Ayew, and Mateta as our main strikers, how are we going to win a game in PL?

Been saying it for months, not sure where this website is hosted, but the performance is absolute pants on match day. Come on chaps, sort it out. I agree. The service is dreadful and for the amount that we pay we should expect better

Far from being the end of the world at this stage of the season. Vierra still moulding together a team with many new players with the results against Watford and every other Prem. Team far more important in the league than in Cup comps. High possession rate and increased number of chances on goal suggests progress. The fact that we didn't score is no different to previous seasons and reinforces the need to focus upon quality of strike play. We were playing Watford's reserves FFS!

Bad result against a Watford second string but worryingly we still haven't scored this season.

Interesting with hindsight to read some of the comments when the draw was made. Especially mine!!
