However, this is a cracking show and if you like The Raconteurs, this is thoroughly recommended....

According to my files this is only the third bootleg by Point Blank that I've posted - and none recently. This kinda makes up for the delay in posting some more - I won't leave it so long this time..... if you like Point Blank -- this show is a must have!....

Todays second download is a set by Rockpile featuring Dave Edmunds and Nick Lowe. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast on WHFS-FM radio and sounds top notch. If you grabbed that show and liked it then give this one a try. Top setlist which includes the classics "I Knew The Bride" "I Love The Sound Of Breaking Glass" and "I Hear You Knocking". This is great stuff and thoroughly recommended......

Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this band that I've posted - mainly because it's the first I've ever seen. This is The Rides and a set performed at the Tropicana Casino and Resort, Atlantic City. New Jersey on the 1st September 2013. This show is one of the few audience recorded bootlegs that I post - it's not a super quality audience show either - but it gives the impression that you're actually at the show. The band has a line up worth checking out as well... Stephen Stills, Kenny Wayne Shepherd are both in the band.... If you dont know this band - try this one... it's the best I've heard - at least until I find an FM or Soundboard recorded boot....

Here is a download link I found for :-

Live at The Showroom, Tropicana Casino & Resort, Atlantic City, NJ 1.9.13 - The Rides (Bootleg)

Quality : Excellent
Bitrate : 320Kbps

Tracklisting :

06. I Got To Use My Imagination
07. Honey Bee
08. Love the One You're With
09. Blue On Black
10. Only Teardrops Fall
11. Talk To Me Baby
12. Word Game
13. For What It's Worth
14. Rockin' THe Free World

The Band :
Stephen Stills - guitar , vocals
Kenny Wayne Shepherd - guitar, vocals
Barry Goldberg - keyboards
Kevin McCormick - bass
Chris Layton - drums

Todays first download is a set by Bruce Hornsby that was recorded at the Rainbow Music Hall, Denver, Colorado on the 9th September 1986. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Bruce was already well known as the keyboards player for the Grateful Dead but he had also released his first solo album "The Way It Is" and was touring in support of it. This is a fantastic show by BH and he plays the whole of his album - he also has time for a dip into the GD catalogue with "I Know You Rider". This is great stuff and thoroughly recommended.....

Todays extra download is a set by Chic Ft Nile Rodgers that was recorded last Saturday night at the Paradiso in Amsterdam. This is an audience recorded show but it's outstanding quality and is one of the best I've heard for sound in an indoor venue. The set is outstanding and the band perform a few jams and medleys which incorporate some real classics - and the audience love it... I recently posted this bands set at Glastonbury - this is just as good... a crackin' set... thoroughly recommended....
