Todays first download is another bootleg by The Rolling Stones which I was going to post with the one yesterday - but in the end I decided that this should be posted seperately as its a wicked bootleg. This is called Nasty Music and its the soundboard recording for a 1973 unreleased live album. This is in superb quality and is a wicked bootleg which features Mick Taylor on guitars. This is a must have for any Stones fan - thoroughly recommended....... Todays second download is a set by Spooky Tooth which was recorded at the Essener Pop & Blues Festival in Germany in October 1969. For a boot over 40 years old this is in great quality and is a wicked set. The audio is taken from a radio broadcast and sounds great... I remember this band when I was a kid in the 60's - never had any of their albums though - I seem to remember they had some limited success with a couple of singles.... I'm rediscovering them - and they rock..... Todays extra download is a short set by Swedish rockers Opeth which was recorded at the Fields Of Rock Festival in Nijmegen, Holland in 2003. This is in superb quality and was also recorded and broadcast as an FM broadcast. The file was originally in WAV format, so I've converted to mp3 at 160Kbps. If you like Opeth, then grab this one... it rocks..... Todays first download is a set by Paul Macca which was recorded in New York in 1992. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set by Macca. This show was recorded in the same studio where The Beatles made their historic TV debut in the USA on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. An audience of only 1200 people at this one - a lot less than the stadium venues that Macca filled during this tour.... this is for all Macca fans - thoroughly recommended..... I've posted a few boots by Kiss in the past - this is another great one with some classic tracks.... thoroughly recommended......... Todays extra download is a set by Thin Lizzy which was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, London in November 1981. This is in superb quality and was broadcast by BBC Radio 6 as an FM transmission. Only 6 tracks which is only a selection of the tracks played at the gig - but still worth downloading for any Lizzy fan....
