None of us know what is going on behind the scenes but assuming his injury is not going to affect him (and I guess it won't if we have already offered £23m +)then we really should bite the bullet and pay up.

So my understanding is sakho is our number 1 target yet in signing him this leaves no more funds to strengthen other areas of our squad that we desperately need. We've been told numerous times from Liverpool what they value him at yet still persist to no avail and now we find ourselves on the last day rushing around trying to find a back up option to sakho allowing us to make other signings.
A decision on him should of been made days ago not leaving it to the last minute again, the whole summer has been a shambles and what are we left with a squad that still plays one way and a manager that wants to play another. What a joke.
