Did you go today? A lot of empty spaces for your cup final. I saw a brief bit of it looking over the laptop catching up with something.

Some of the kids there look like there's some inbreeding still going on. Maybe better than zooming in on the Tourette's potty mouthed ankle biters in the upper near the away fans on a day out paid for with contents of gran's purse.

Yeah because youve filled out selhurst for your cup games haven't you?
May see you next season. Would be good to have a proper derby again. Games v Charlton just don't cut it. Until then x

Take a moment to look at it from the point of view of the two American investors.

They paid multi-millions for 2010's shares with the expectation of making multi-multi-millions.

The prospect on the horizon is now one of losing a lot of money, something wealthy people despise.

This alone means BFS's chances of survival are 50/50 at the very best.

At the end of the day someone has to pay for that shambolic performance against a side that can't score goals. The club needs a lift, I don't see any spark, when BFS was appointed we all went urrr... boring Sam.

We need a motivator who will play two up front, from the start of games, so sorry Sam, you have to go...

from his telly interviews, i must say i like Sam. And also Pardew was clueless.

But if our useless overpaid bunch of kids do not start performing and getting points on the table.....i would understand if Sam quit and left us to our fate.

a cat has nine lives. Funny enough it was the Black Cats thumping us 4-0 that was our last life. Within two games we will know if we are relegated. Its now got that close.

in Sam we trust

I posted this on a different subject but it is more suited to this thread.

Sam joined Sunderland on 9th October 2015. Their record at that stage was Played 8 Won 0 Drew 3 Lost 5. Sam's first 11 games in charge yielded the following results Won 3 Lost 8 and they were firmly in the relegation zone at 31 December. At that stage I would imagine that the Sunderland players had no confidence and their fans were reacting then pretty much in the same way ours are now. During the January transfer window Sam bought two centre backs (Kone & Kirchhoff) and a midfielder (Khazri). Their results for the last 19 games were Won 6 Drew 9 and lost 4. The results of the critical final 10 games were Won 3 Drew 6 Lost 1.

Sam did not instantly make Sunderland a better team but he knew what to fix and brought in the players to do it. We have not yet had the full benefit of our January signings and there is still time for the team to turn it around.

We cling on to this !

We still have to play Middlesbrough and Hull who are in the mire. Our 'Home' record is dire but we still have to entertain Burnley who have been awful away from 'Turf Moor'.

We are only 2 pts adrift which is nothing given there are 3 pts for a win.In this situation it only takes a win (Only I say !) for us and a team 2 pts above us loses and we could be out of the relegation zone.I think if it got to 4 pts in the next few matches this will be cause for grave concern.

If either of them win and we lose there will still only be 2 pts between us and the loser. If however they draw and we lose they will both be 3 pts clear of us.
