I'd rather go blind - great blues classic!
[Link]
Too Rolling Stoned - from Brisge of Sighs album. The Groundhogs - Thank Christ for the Bomb - my favourite album of theirs. A bit less bluesy more proggy but I rate them. Soldier (track from that album) John Mayall's bluesbreakers - get the album featuring Eric Clapton. I absolutely love an early 70's band called Rare Bird They're a tad proggy but worth a listen. Album - Epic Forest:- If I can think of any more I'll let you know. I hope my knowledge is of use to you mate. If you ever want to visit Bristol I can let you have what you want from my CD collection - I've uploaded it all onto a Cocktail Audio player and my PC. You only get about 30p a CD now, so I'd rather give it to you - an interested "young apprentice". That's a genuine offer by the way, not just words.

Cheers Hoof I can't do Youtube at work but I'll give it a whirl tonight. Not sure I know it, the title doesn't ring any bells. I've been on a Winwood kick since Mr A kindly slung us the Blind Faith album a few weeks back so I'm all over Traffic (& Spencer Davies) Guess what... as a 15 year old in 1969 me and a school mate watched Blind Faith performing their opening gig at Hyde Park. We were gutted that Cream split, but overjoyed when Clapton and Baker got it together with Winwood and Gretsch to form Blind Faith.

I'd like to find the person that got Green involved in that religious cult and mind altering drugs and beat the sh1t out of him/her for depriving us of Green's brilliance.

on the anniversary of staffies passing, a little self indulgence is in order, we listened to this particular album to death, so much so I'm suprised my copy hasn't got the grooves meeting in the middle. An offshoot of the Man band this one is probably my favourite of all time, and reminds me of the hours we spent in Stafford road, listening to this. Kodi To install Kodi, (works on all operating systems) go to [Link] to download the initial platform. How to get pretty much any tune you desire. Install MP3 streams using the instructions here [Link] disable the use golden path option and pre-cache and chose alternative source. There really is every tune on the planet but at the moment the download option seems broken so you can only listen “live”. Don’t forget that all these free services are fluid and constantly being upgraded and changed so if it doesn’t work one day don’t panic, google the addon name and have a look at peoples comments on the bottom of the page and there will normally be a fix, or a solution to your problems. PM me if you have any troubles.

Only just caught up with this thread since Friday. Cheers all for the tips Looks like I've got plenty of research! I'm currently indebted to Dan Theolmesdaleroad who sent me an old staffie megalink that still works. 'Mega' is the operative word - it's a blinder - got loads on my want list - most with full discographies! Managed to grab myself the first handful of Fleetwoods and filled in some Free blanks - and I'm only just getting started. PM me if you want the link (or should I repost here Mr A?). Many thanks for the CD the offer Hoof mate. I'll deffo give you a nod when I'm in the vicinity - I'll bring a USB stick and a couple of ales And cheers for all the links. I'm at my girlfriends tonight and she's more a Little Mix/Lady Gaga kind of girl - but I'm doing my best to educate her (slowly! I'm holding back on the My Bloody Valentine, Birthday Party & Wagner)
