Todays second download is a set by Hugh Cornwell that was recorded at WFMU FM Studios in New Jersey in October last year. This is in superb quality and is a wicked but short set of ony 4 songs. Hugh plays a couple of tracks from his days as lead singer with The Stranglers as well as a couple of others. This is a great sounding boot - thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is a set by Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings that was recorded at The Button Factory, Dublin in April 2008. This is in superb quality and is a great set. There is no tracklisting as this file is a continuous mp3 which lasts 1 Hour & 7minutes. If you like a bit of soul - then grab this one..... Todays first download is a set by guitar legend Carlos Santana which was recorded in North Carolina in 1973. This was recorded shortly before the band left for a tour of Japan where they recorded the live album Lotus. A crackin' set in superb quality which lasts for 93 minutes... this is thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a set by Mumford & Sons that was recorded in Germany at the Haldern Pop Festival in August last year. This is in superb quality and has been taken from an FM Broadcast. There is some dj chatter in between tracks but it only last a few seconds and doesnt overlap the music. I've posted a few boots by this band now - this is another cracking set... if you like this band then this is thoroughly recommended...... Todays extra download is the first bootleg or album I've posted by this band. They are called Oysterhead and they are made up of 3 musicians who have been around for a while.. The musicians are Les Claypool, Trey Anastasio, and Stuart Copeland and they have been in Primus, Phish, and The Police before getting together as Oysterhead. They are a good unit and end the set with a version of Led Zeps "Immigrant Song".... Todays first download is a set by Yes that was recorded at the Uni of Texas in 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast. This isn't my favourite Yes line up and the band play songs from the Big Generator album which this tour was promoting. It's still a good boot though and one Yes fans will enjoy... Todays second download is a set by Gary Moore which was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in Feb 84. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast. Only 9 songs so I doubt if this is the whole show, but it was all that was broadcast. This is another top notch boot by GM - RIP Gary, you will be missed.... Todays extra download is a set by XTC that was recorded in Boston, Mass in January 1980. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast by WBCN-FM. The band play a crackin' set which features classics like "Making Plans For Nigel". The band played two shows on this day - both sold out. This is the first of them - no recording exists of the second show. If you like XTC then you will want this one... it's thorougly recommended!...
