Hi staffie, I've searched for my own links and the same story with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers album came up for a different album. Have no trouble with other albums. Nothing on the HOL for this one but you have posted their previous one last year. Anyway, the band are called Status Quo and the album is called Quid Pro Quo. Help would be much appreciated. Cheers! Todays first download is an unreleased album by Neil Young that was recorded at the Hit Factory Studios in New York in 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the master tapes. The final few tracks have been added from the Saturday Night Live tv show and the rehearsals. If you like Neil Young you will want this one... thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is the first bootleg by this artist that I've posted. This is the legendary Buddy Guy - a master of the blues guitar and pioneer of the Chicago blues sound and a show that was recorded at Buddy Mulligan's in Chicago in 1982.. This is in superb quality and is a top sounding bootleg. Buddy is joined for the last 3 tracks by another legend of the Chicago blues - harmonica player Junior Wells. This is a fantastic bootleg and it cannot be recommended highly enough. Do yourself a favour and grab it...... if you like a bit of bluesy jazzy rock - you won't regret it.... Todays extra download is a set by John Waite - who is probably better known as the lead singer of The Babys and also of Bad English - but he's also had a fairly successful solo career. This is an a rip from a VHS video of a live performance of his album "No Brakes". I don't have any details of when and where it was recorded, except it's in 1985. The sound quality is superb and this is a top sounding show which really rocks big time. This is throughly recommended..... Todays first download is a set by rock legends Yes, that was recorded at the House of Blues, Las Vegas, Nevada in October 1999. This is in superb quality - the audio is from a soundboard dvd rip. I've posted another gig from this tour in the past - the Boston show - this is the better sounding. Rick Wakeman is replaced by Igor Khoroshev on the keyboards and Billy Sherwood is also on guitar. Grab this one Yes fans - it's the mutts.... Todays second download is a set by Ted Nugent that was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon, London in September 1976. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set by the Nuge. Some classic stuff on this one which is one of the best sounding TN boots I've posted. Ted was known as the "Wild Man" of rock and in this show he really lets rip... this is great stuff... an air guitarists dream! Todays extra download is a set by Echo And The Bunnymen that was recorded at the Kilburn National in London on the 16th of October 1997. This set is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a BBC FM broadcast of the show - and it sounds superb. I've only posted a couple of boots by this band in the past - this is probably the best sounding of the lot. If you like EATB this is thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a very recent one by Status Quo. This was recorded last Thursday night at the BBC Radio Theatre, London and was also broadcast on FM radio - from where this audio is taken. The band are touring at the moment and have recently released a new album (which I've already posted) called "Quid Pro Quo". This show was performed in front of an audience of just 310 people - and it's a great set which features many of their hits from the last 40 years!... this is classic Quo - thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a set by The Cult that was recorded at Finsbury Park, London in 1992. This is in superb quality and is a top soundboard recording. The notes on the back cover artwork give the tour details - and calls the boot a "Live Greatest Hits" by the band. I've only posted two other boots by this band and if you downloaded those, you'll want this one as well.... thoroughly recommended.
