Todays first download is a set by Bad Company that was recorded in Boston, MA on the 27th July 2010. This is in superb quality - one of the best sounding boots by Bad Company I've heard. Some classics on this one and the band are on great form. I've posted a few by Bad Co recently - this is another cracking show that is thoroughly recommended.. Todays second download is a set by Iggy Pop that was recorded in Milan, Italy in October 1993. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from a soundboard recording. The final track on the boot is from an FM Broadcast of a different show. Iggy plays some of his classics on this one "I Wanna Be Your Dog, The Passenger and Louie Louie". I've only posted a few boots by Iggy in the past - this is a top sounding show which is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Massive Attack that was recorded in Cologne, Germany in 2003. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. I've only posted a couple of boots by this band in the past - this is a good one though.... Todays first download is a bootleg by legendary rock band Free. This is a boot of studio rehearsals and a live show that were recorded in Japan in July 1972. The quality is superb for a bootleg thats nearly 40 years old - also included as the final track is a bbc recorded version of All Right Now. Free bootlegs in good quality are very rare - I was amazed when I saw this one. On the live tracks it seems there is a Japanese announcer saying the names of the tracks. If you like Free this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Mike Bloomfield that was recorded at the Bottom Line Club in New York on the 25th January 1975. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show on WLIR-FM. This is the first bootleg by MB that I've posted - good quality ones are very rare. Mike was a legend in blues guitar circles - he played with some of the best musicians of this genre - Al Kooper, Dylan, Moby Grape, Taj Mahal and many others. He died on the 15th February 1981 - he was found dead in a car, apparently from a drug overdose - he is buried in Hillside Memorial Park, Culver City, CA. In 2003 he was voted as number 22 on the Rolling Stone Magazine's "100 Greatest Guitarists Of All Time". Todays extra download is by Bloc Party and two sets the band recorded for KCRW-FM Morning Becomes Eclectic Radio Show in Santa Monica, Ca in 2005 and 2009. The audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the shows and is in superb quality.
