Todays first download is a set by Uriah Heep that was recorded in Tel Aviv, Israel on the 28th January this year. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast and sounds absolutely top notch. This is a wicked set by UH and the energy they have onstage is amazing considering how long this band have been around.... this boot rocks big time and is thoroughly recommended... This is the set by FOALS and this is in superb quality, with the audio being taken from the soundboard. Todays extra download was posted just the other day - but it was posted as a continuous mp3 file and not seperate tracks. The show was Rod Stewart In Concert at the BBC Radio Theatre last Thursday the 16th May. I've now found the show in seperate tracks with the audio being taken from BBC iPlayer. The quality is top notch as you would expect from the beeb. If you were tempted to download the previous boot, but waited for this version... I'm glad the wait was only a day or so.... Todays first download is a set by David Bowie that was recorded at Madison Square Garden, New York on the 9th January 1997 and was a concert celebrating DB's 50th birthday. The quality of this bootleg is absolutely superb... cracking sound.... and it's a great show as well. Some real classics are played as well as a few covers... I've posted tons of boots and albums by David Bowie over the years and this is without doubt one of the best. It was first posted on the 3rd December 2007 and if you missed it then - grab it now... this is great stuff from the Thin White Duke.... thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is a set by Chicago that was recorded at the Nassau Coliseum, Long Island on the 20th May 1977. This is in superb quality and is one of the best sounding Chicago bootlegs known to exist. It's so good, a couple of the tracks were officially released and are not included in the file. This is a cracking set with guitarist Terry Kath on great form - he died some 8 months after this show on the 23rd January 1978. Jimi Hendrix called Terry Kath a "Great Guitarist" - high praise indeed!... If you like Chicago - then grab this show - its th mutts.... This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and sounds fantastic - easily the best sounding BB bootleg I've ever heard. This live session also includes some banter (in seperate tracks) which can be deleted if not wanted. If you like Billy Bragg this is thoroughly recommended......
