Todays second download is a set recorded at the BBC for the Alan "Fluff" Freeman show by Alex Harvey in 1978. This is in superb quality and is only the second bootleg by Alex Harvey that I've seen - bootlegs by this guy are rarer than rocking horse crap... which is surprising considering the amount of live shows he did. This is only a short session of 4 songs - but they are good ones. This is a must have for any fans of AH... thoroughly recommended.... Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg I've posted by this band. I've never had a request for any of their stuff either. The band are called Tesla and this is a boot recorded in Louisville KY in 1989. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set. I don't know anything about this band - I've had a quick listen to this boot and they remind me of early Aerosmith... I'm sure I'll be posting a few more by this band in the future.... Todays first download is a set by Eric Clapton which was recorded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1983. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set by EC - although I think the vocals are a little to high up in the mix and sound over loud - the instruments sound great.... and it has some great guitar playing from EC - who is backed up by Albert Lee. This was in FLAC format originally but I've converted it to mp3 at 192kbps.This is thoroughly recommended.... Todays second download is a set by Motorhead which was recorded at the Rock In Rio Festival which was held in Lisbon, Portugal in May 2010. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set - with the audio being taken from a TV broadcast. There was a power failure during the first track "Iron Fist" and the show was interupted for several minutes - this has been edited out of the track - Lemmy even says "Motorhead have turned acoustic".... luckily, the power was soon restored and the rest of the set is a blinder... a wicked version of their anthem "Ace Of Spades" is played towards the end... thoroughly recommended for Motorhead fans...... Todays extra download is a set by the Marshall Tucker band which was recorded at the Cow Palace in California on New Years Eve 1973. This is only the second boot or album that I've posted by this band - this one is in superb quality and is a wicked set. This band rock big time and this is thoroughly recommended......
