Met a few Palace players in my time even though im only a teen :

Ian Wright - Met him in a petrol garage and he seemed alright, cracked a joke at him about his ferrari he smashed up and he was a nice enough guy

Clinton Morrison and Leon Mckenzie - Both were really nice and came into the Woolpack in selhurst one night with a member of coaching staff, stayed long enough and chatted to everyone.

Ertl - In waitrose and he was nice to talk to and good english, gave my bro and autograph

Ben Watson - Day after the bristol city game playoffs and he was disapointed but still stopped for a chat and photos

Alan Lee is a top guy. My sis who is 15 asked for a picture with him and then they took the picture but it wasn't a good one so he said to take it again and he was just an all round nice guy. Speroni was also great as you would expect. Both are genuine guys.

Nigel Martyn is really down to earth, modest with his achievements and to be honest a really shy guy that you can't help but like. Happy to talk to you.

I agree and in a similar vogue but further back, Ian Evans, a very unassuming, quiet, pleasant man.

clinton morrison second spell , shook his hand outside the ground before a game ,i asked him how his injury was and he said 2 weeks , he then said nice to have met you , a very pleasant young man and a credit to his family , even before that ,contrary to a lot of people on here he was one of my favourite palace players .

i saw pardew at windsor races when he was manager at reading , chatted about football , reading and us was both after nicky forster at the time and he said we didnt have a chance of getting him . whilst we was in conversation i noticed he was taking a rather passing interest in my girlfriends chest , which he passed off as admiring her ramones t shirt .

funny enough i also saw him when he was going through his bad time at west ham , he was hailing a cab in piccadilly just as i was getting on my bike , i shouted over to him , " good luck al " , he looked like he had the right hump , scored one crucial goal for us but other than that he was pony .

interviewer " iggy , do you think you influenced anybody?"
iggy pop " I think I wiped out the 60`S "

shaun derry at a wedding last november , it was just after the cardiff incident with chopra , i asked him about it and he said " what goes on the pitch stays on the pitch " uuummmmm .

seemed like a realy nice bloke , he was very humble and said how lucky he was to have the best job in the world , it was the evening after a game and he had played really well .

later on a mate of mine who was really pissed collared him and kept farting which was a bit embarassing , sean took it well though , i had a sling on as i had a broken collar bone at the time and he wished me a speedy recovery which was nice . top bloke

of the current crop, Dannzy, Andrew, Speroni and Ambrose are all very friendly.

Clint Hill was a good bloke, challenged me to a dance off at the POTY dinner and then asked if I wanted to go get w***ered in Croydon. Ertl and Derry were nice blokes as well.

Morrison as mentioned previously is a real down to earth chap and Brighty, Geoff Thomas, Salako and Wright are very friendly too
