I just love the bloke. He could easy tale home something ridiculous like £100k a week there, to turn that down is a smart gesture. Simply a legend. An exceptionally handsome, smooth, cool as furk legend.

Very good gesture, but him and that cnut of a wife love publicity...
You're asking me what it's all about, and I can't tell you because I don't know what's going on myself. |

A small price to pay to keep his profile up. I hear he'll be living in London still and commuting to Paris. Hang on a minute... 75% tax rate proposed and a wealth tax on assets over €1m. Makes sense now, but still.. good on him. Edited by Stuk (31 Jan 2013 5.11pm)

I wanted to start this thread just for Bin Liner!!!! Suppose you can't say anything now mate? For those unaware, Bin hijacked my praise for Sir Beckham and said he was selfish and if he wasn't, he'd play for free. Well, well, well!

It looks like David Beckham must read Holmesdale.net and was irate about the suggestion that he's selfish so decided to play for free and donate his earnings to a local children's charity.
The pyramid to beat all pyramids!! Find out what team is in which division, eg which division is Coppull United in? |

Maybe i'm a cynical b'stard, but i can't help thinking the 75% tax rate might have something to do with his benevolence, still, keeping the money from going into the French Governments hands is a cool move.

C*nt. If he was going to donate his wages, he could have come to Palace.
Isn’t it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too? |
