I don't know what people are getting wound up.

Nothing ever really happens until the last 10 days of the window...it just takes one of the bigger clubs to get a signing over the line before the chain reaction starts.

It's like some people have never followed football thru a transfer window before.

We complained like hell about the time it took to appoint pulis. I guess we need to be just as patient in the transfer window.

Just read this whole thread and there is alot of people panicking. And a suprisingly high amount of people who don't believe in the current team. Yes, we need a goal scorer...but we have been absolutely awesome in the majority of our games this season, I am loving watching us evolve and improve as the games go by...our squad is strong and we don't need loads of signings desperately in my opinion.

P.s - two holding midfielder FTW...going to one would cause us problems at present.

You don't know what you are talking about. We were awful today. The only reason we won was Stoke were worse. You cant rely on that happening every game.

I hope that Pulis will now change his mind about going after Crouch> On todays performance I would not touch him with a barge pole. I really do not think he ever got in the game or even turned up. While I have been plugging for us to go after Charlie Adam, I was a bit disappointed in him today.I felt he went sideways far too often and it was not one of his better games.

A manager always wants to make new signings because it potentially makes his job easier - but it isnt always in the clubs interest. I was impressed by Parish's interview on radio 5 today. He knows this ; Pulis needs to get on with managing what he has got. Moody is a buffer between Pulis and Parish. Wigan is a good chance to rest key players and give fringe players game time and assess them

I think the only reason we won was due to us scoring one more than the opposition. (Who incidentally scored 3 against Liverpool last week) we are a very tough team to beat, as stoke were under Pulis and we stop teams playing. Once we have a man up top who finishes his chances our 1-0's will become 3/4. Still, 3 points is 3 points. It's so tragic.

Hi All,

I was not a Pulis fan prior to him joining us but I must say since he has come in he deserves a lot of plaudits not only for the way he has turned the club around but also for the style of play.

I cant help that feel though from reading and hearing his press conferences that he is felling very frustrated with the turn of events in the transfer market.

Do we risk losing him if we do it would be a massive shame.

I do understand the clubs stance on signing players and spending money especially if we do go down but surely we need to take a risk on at least 2 or 3 players and if we do go down we either sell them or loan them out like QPR have (not saying we should sign players like QPR just using them as an example)

I cant help but feel very worried at the minute and do feel like that we are not being told the whole truth, I also find it very strange on IH going to Millwall.

I think things have happened and are happening that we are not in the know off and are not being told the whole truth.

Thoughts?

Something a bit strange is happening I feel. We do not appear to have had any particular targets in the transfer market which is a surprise and the fact that SP has gone on holiday is something of another surprise. With regard to the departure of SP a lot of people have said it makes no difference that he is not here because we can contact him easily enough. My thoughts on this comment are that,we have been there and done that once before. I am not sure if it was in Dowie's or Warnock's tenure that Simon Jordan left on holiday in Spain and when we needed him to say yes or no it was impossible to find him and we lost out on the player we had lined up. I would prefer we do one thing at a time.! Set aside time for holidays and set aside time for building the team. Multi tasking is not something that Palace have ever been very good at. I feel for Pulis but I wish he had had some names he was going after in the market even if he could not land them. I am just a getting a bit jittery!.

What are you smoking? I didn't realise that we had so many fans that have inside access to the exact goings on inside our club.

Just give the guys a break. I am sure that the entire Management at the club are working tirelessly to continue to improve our future on and off the pitch. We have so much to be grateful for for decisions made to this point.

Stop whining and looking for something to blame or criticise. Without doubt the size and limited short-term success of a club like Palace is still making it difficult to attract talent. Plus we have proven we are not mugs and will not pay over inflated wages or prices which has crippled the club in the past.

Steady she goes and let's continue to enjoy the journey supporting the right people at the helm.
