Possibly mistaken but am I right in saying there was no music to the goal we scored?

Was a little merry so may have been an oversight on my behalf.

Thanks

Correct, nobody knew what to do. Hopefully they do away with it totally

I think if there was a vote, surely the majority of people would like to do away with goal music. It's horrible.

the funny bit was the silence when all realised it was Puncheon that had scored. No music, no song and a silenced disbelief........then Jazz hands started and all was well...

Clinton is Clinton. I have known him for a long time, I know his mother... Simon Jordan

I think it was a technical fault, i would of imagined glad all over would have at least played after the 'and the goalscorer for crystal...' bit but it didn't.

Seems to be a common theme of wierd things happening this season, i can recall; the announcers microphone being practically broken, the crstals having the wrong music played, smoke alarm going off twice and the eagle flying out the stadium to go along with this

I certainly started going well before cringey goal music was ever being played.

It's not different, it's the same as other souless clubs whose fans have to be told when to 'celebrate' and when to sit back down and shut up.

As I said, it's horrible.

I don't mind the goal music that much - it is the song that everybody associates with Palace. Besides when the team does score( which isn't very often this season), we might as well make the most of it.

Its part of Palace as far as Im concerned wouldnt want to change it. Would you rather a muffled round of applause, with the odd shout of good goal????

No, I'd rather hear the crowd make some noise. You know, like at a football match.

I like Glad All Over after a goal.

Gets everyone singing along and then we all know when to do the Jazz hands and 'We Love You' I think they all fit well together.

Everyone was a bit perplexed on Saturday and not sure what to do.
