Where is Garven these days? On loan or writing IH love letters with all his spare time?
Why would anyone chose to be a Seagull? The Eagle is a far superior creature. The Seagull lives under it's damp pier meekly looking out, blinded by the sheer quality of the Eagle's palace. |

Not sure how it works, hopefully Ince doesn't take up a slot. If one player was to be dropped it would be out of Jerome Thomas, Glenn Murray, Paddy McCarthy or Aaron Wilbraham.
I'm hoping having a fit Glenn Murray will be like a new signing in itself.

To be considered as Under 21, and thus NOT needing to be named in the 25 man squad, you need to be under 21 years of age as of the 1st January in which the season starts. Ince was 20 years and eleven months on 1st January 2013 and is therefore considered as an under 21 player for this season. Therefore he does NOT need to be included in the 25 man squad.

Guaranteed place in the squad (players over 21 only): Speroni – Hennessy Highly likely to get a place: Price - O’Keefe – Digakoi – Gayle Probably will get a place: McCarthy - Thomas That still leaves one space up for grabs between Alexander; Garvan and Wilbrahim. For me Wilbrahim is a certainty for this spot. Added to the above the following young players (under 21 on 1st January 2013)either play or are capable of playing at this level: Williams; Ince; Boateng Players we have gone: Phillips (released); Grandin (released); Hunt (loan to end season – Barnsley); Dobbie (loan to end season Blackpool); Kebe (loan and then sale to Leeds); Camapna (loan and then sale to Nuremberg); Blake (released); Banton (sold to Plymouth); Parsons (sold to Plymouth. Whilst very, very happy with the signings yesterday I believe a fit and scoring Murray may well prove to be more important to our survival than anyone.

My understanding that an under 21 player must be under the age of 21 on the 1st jan in the year the season commences. Ince had his 22bday this week meaning he would have already been 21 on 1st jan last yr. He'd have turned 21 this week last year, so he'd have been 20 on New Year's Day. Dead rite, my mistake. Can we put it down to a long day keepin up with deadline day rather than me being a complete idiot? Thats make the loan an even bigger deal so. Effectively earned palace an extra squad memeber and with Joniesta that makes a 27man squad!!!

Personally I'd loan out Price and Garvan, since I think they are the professionals least likely to get into our matchday squad and who would benefit most from some first team football.
