I was helping out with the palace guards and Paddy used to take his son up there. I had numerous chats with him and showed him the ffs Murray you tube vid. He thought it was quality.

Told him I was at the play off final and told him he's great really. Maybe if I focussed on the sunglasses more I would have got the sale...

Met John Salako in my local restaurant I work at part time a few months ago. Melted at first but plucked the courage to say hello. He was with his family and was pretty pissed up, and was actually a really approachable fella. Asked me about what games I've been to, what I think of the players at the moment, my best memories at Selhurst etc..
I dropped in that my Dad's favorite memory of him was his goal against Forest in '91 - which brought an enormous smile to his face!
He said he still loves the club, and has "Many many happy memories there", which is always nice.
Anyway, grabbed a photo, got an autograph and then called him a cab! Wicked night at work!

Yeah of course he did, all with a smile on his face and all!

Cheers mate, I was going to apply for an apprenticeship position there in IT! Decided against being put on the short list as I felt it wasn't for me, so I went for the London based one instead. Small world ain't it?
