Would love another upper terrace hopeful for it on the main stand wasn't there some sort of deal with sainsburys on the cards?

I would put up with going to another stadium for one season whilst building work was going on !! If it meant an even better stadium then why not???

Wonder if Charlton would return the favour and allow us to share the Valley for a season or two?

I suspect that from a revenue point of view, it'd make more sense to do the Arthur first. My guess is that because the Main Stand has better corporate/entertaining facilities, they could keep leveraging those while the Arthur was being re-built but the rebuilt Arthur would then become the new Main Stand and would include new corporate facilities that could then keep the high-end revenue streams going while the now Main Stand was rebuilt. If they do it the other way round, the revenue loss would be far higher.

But they've just spent £800k on the new gantry in the Arthur (as well as cabling routed to it). Would be extremely costly to rip that all out and have to reinstall it in the Main stand because the Arthur is being demolished.

i'd rather watch palace play on the purley way field than there.

I hope they hire a good acoustic engineer. Our stadium needs to be designed to be loud and intimidating.
