Why 30 mins before the game???? Nothing's got any worse in last couple of hours, in fact at least the rain has left off now.

Sounds like a cop out to me to save their embarrassment that they should have called the game off hours ago!! Absolute joke that it is called off less than 40 minutes before KO with all our fans having already travelled.

Poor sods who made the journey Some of the poor folks on the coaches have been travelling since 1pm and have been stuck between Birmingham and Stoke since about 4pm. They would have missed at least half the match and now have to turn around and come back through the same traffic!! Surely, common sense should prevail...we have on average 2 red weather warnings in the UK per year, if a football game is positioned in an area where there is a red weather warning (possible risk to life and serious risk of property damage) it should automatically be cancelled.

The alert was in place this morning catagorically stating the worst weather would be between 5pm-9pm in Liverpool tonight. It should have been called off at 9am. Safe journey home Eagles.
