Any body know what the prices are like. And standard of food. Im tempted to go but not if its one of these posh places that is like 15 quid a starter and 40 for a main

About 7 quid for a starter and 15 for a main, apart from a couple of specials that are about 22. Went in expecting some very average food, and was totally wrong. Purley desperately needed a decent restaurant, think it's got one now.

you've obviously never been to the steakhouse next door then.

If we beat Man Utd on Saturday this can be a new pre match ritual

To quote skj "TP ate next door" that was probably so they could all enjoy the evening without worrying about the conversation!

The restaurant next door (Buenos Aires) is owned by Jules business partner who helped him get his restaurant off the ground so is no surprise.

Who knows this could well lead to the start of a chain of Speroni if it proves a successful venture!

Shouldn't Speroni's restaurant at Selhurst Park change its name to confusion.

Or does Jules have a shareholding in it?

Apologies - that should read: to "avoid" confusion

Why should Tony being there make the conversation awkward? Surely the players won't be slagging him off...

I wish they'd put a menu up for the restaurant on a web site. Does anyone know of one?

I'm coming over at the end of April (yes, I've got my ticket for Man City thanks to a season ticket holder) and I'd love to give it a try.

My American wife always teases me about English restaurants (she says they are terrible), so I'd love to take her here and impress her.

[[Am surprised Speroni hasn't had a call from the brewers of Peroni]]

"Peroni Nastro Azzurro is brewed using the creativity and flair of Italians"
Really? - it's only lager, panther P. The brew of adolescents. Since they make such beautiful food, they really need something better to go with it and Guinness and 6X don't seem right. Keep to wine amici

When did your wife last eat in England?

Two words, Waffle House! Imagine a cross between a little chef and happy eater from the 70s for those that don't know it.
