Just out of curiosity, have you never sat in the home end at an away game, with mates who support the opposition, for instance?

I know I have.

Is it just Man Utd you object to, or any fans? Because I've sat with a Norwich supporting mate at Selhurst because he'd rather watch his team play with a friend he can discuss the game with than on his own and meet up afterwards. Can't see the harm in it, myself

This match will be different because it is close to a sell out now, so should be a total sell out by Saturday.

Any Man U fans in the home areas are taking up space where real genuine palace fans could be to give the team our support which is going to be vital for us to have a chance in the match.

Wouldn't they have season tickets. Where were these Pure Genuine Palace fans when we were getting crowds of 12-14 a year and a half ago.

I'd quite like to be able to go to football games with my friends who support other teams, and sit with them, rather than us supposedly having to sit in different ends.

This thread has made me right proud. One or two of the usual suspect dickhead numptys but the vast majority proper Palace fans who love football.

the club has pretty much done all that can be expected to unsure tickets get into Palace fans hands & not into supporters of the bigger teams, system is being let down by these fans cashing in or helping a mate!.

If your going to sit in the home end as a away fan, the unwritten rules are No colours & no celebration simple

Agreed. A silent 'yesssssss' is allowed but if they start going all Manc-like then launch Matthew Simmons at 'em.

Absolutely - anything else is disrespectful. However, anyone who obeys those rules is not a problem

twistedeagle

I would rather have a Man Utd fan sit behind me in the Whitehorse than the little c*** that currently sits there.

Please elaborate?

Bloke next to me in the Arfer is a Man Utd fan , lives in london and has had a season ticket for 3 years now, comes to every home game and supports us on the day against our opponents!
So dont have a problem with it myself as long as they show respect , if they start givin it the biggun then they will be ejected im sure.

If there are any United fans that have manged to obtain a ticket in the home ends, I hope that we do the right thing and get them ejected from the ground.

I was reading on twitter that a few have managed to get tickets in the main stand.

Anyone that has bought a ticket for a United supporting fan is a disgrace and should be BANNED for life. You make me sick !

What's your problem? I enjoy lively contact with the fans of the opposition. I cannot wait for the day when supporter segregation is stopped, just like any other sport. I believe if there was less of an aggressive atmosphere at football grounds more people would be encouraged to attend, clubs would sell more tickets and more income would ensue. Better for my game all round. The thought that some fan believes that I would want to act in an aggressive or childish manner towards them just because they have the audacity to support another team (while putting money into the coffers of my club!) fills me with sadness.

I think you want rugby mate.

This game will sell out without the need for people giving their tickets away to non-Palace fans so you're suggestion that they are 'just putting money into our coffers' is null and void.

No one is suggesting segregation is to stop people kicking off, it's to give our team the backing they deserve by making it a HOME game with HOME fans in the HOME end.

Im not saying either point is right or wrong but tbf its not just rugby. Its every sport in the world thats non segregation other than I believe Ice Hockey in the States.

The game would have sold out weeks ago ago if there was the demand. As it is there are 300 tickets left with only 48 hours to go. No Palace member nor season ticket holder nor their friends are missing out.

So a few man u are scattered around. Unless it was a 100% sell out so what? AS long as they behave. There are some right anal nigels on here. Again.

Edited by Kermit8 (20 Feb 2014 1.43pm)

This x 100000000000000.

If people were so desperate to watch the Palace (and had the means to do so), they would have bought a ticket by now. Why is it that we've not sold out for a single game this year?
