Will it ever happen and, if so, how long will it be before we are able to watch our games, all of them at home? Or at least in a local cinema if your team are away? Apart from the usual morons ripping up the seats and empty stadia, whats the problems?

I Hope never.

hiya,
Not been on for a few days so had a full in box this morning..
The box I was referring to earlier in my post

Its called a ANDROID MX, some are ready to go, but with some you have to load apps. Ours was ready loaded.
Its totally off the wall, also has all the sky channels and u.s channels and French Spanish Italian etc and all the latest films.
The only thing I see as its downfall is, there's so many choices that when you click on certain areas, you need to write down where you went, so as to remember to get there next time.

Doesn't say anything about sky TV, do you have to buy the slot card separately and if so, how much?

No, no slots. When you click on various apps ( 100's of them on there) most of the sports ones come up with nbc sports premier sports, sky sports, Arabian sports etc, they all show sky games. and most of the other apps you get most of sky programming.. You just have to start clicking on the apps, its not easy as there's so many. But as you find the ones that suit you, you will go back to those. No one I know uses the same ones, as theres so many to choose from.. Sounds difficult but it works the same as apps on a phone, see the screen and click away. Theres stacks of movie channels on there to. And its legal.

The only thing you will definitely need is constant wifi as the little box needs to come off your wireless to get feeds live.

Also for me when I want palace games I usually go to Ilemi.eu.

Hope this helps.

It's legal to get pay channels for free?

So this is just essentially streaming through an Android Box to your TV. Pretty much same as watching on your PC?

Or are you actually getting 480p+ coverage?

My dad went out last week and bought this amazing "BOX" about the size of a cigarette packet, plugged it into the TV and bingo, matches from the premier league all popped up and amazingly ALL the channels on sky TV platform and all live TV worldwide.. ESP U.S TV. So im happy I can watch palace every week without dodgy streams.

Streaming is exactly what that is. The so called box you refer is xbmc software which is free to download on any laptop right now. The only advantage to this over staffie streaming is the power of your internet connection and the quality of the stream you are viewing on xbmc. There are films on there in HD straight from cinema some of them ! Most are copies. I would be interested though to see this box for the tv though to see if its different but it's just streaming again how else can it work

I am tempted by this but what is the picture quality like? Currently I watch the Palace games via live stream then connect my laptop to my tv, if it's the same quality then it's not worth it. Also with this box is it a constant stream with no pauses ?

Interesting Deano. So does it come from that site off amazon fully loaded or is that just the same model as yours?

well the reason we got it was, simply because we can access all sky programming free esp sport which saves a bomb, we currently pay £70 a month for skys full package, so for approx. £130 one off payment its all yours.
As someone said earlier its all to do with XBMC.
Its all live streaming.
Its advantage is for me, is being able to click and watch sports channels, and the boxing last week they were charging £10 for I WATCHED FOR FREE !
Also all the latest movies are on there, SOMEONE SAID EARLIER SOME ARE COPIES, I HAVE NO IDEA, BUT IVE BEEN WATCHING MOVIES THAT ARENT EVEN OUT HERE YET VIA US TV AND FRANCE. Soz caps !
I for one wouldn't go back to sky now, what's the point ! I'm saving dosh!

Look around not just on Amazon... They are about..
