Usual stuff from us really. Minimal possession, sitting deep soaking up pressure, Jedi intercepting everything, we look fairly decent on the very rare occasion we get people forward and attack. If we end up nicking a 1-0 win then the ends will justify the means and we'll all be happy. The problem is that if we end up getting beaten and really made no effort to attack an ordinary Sunderland side there will be animosity towards our approach and lack of attacking intent. Bit better towards the end there, but generally considering we are playing 2 banks of 5 we look poor. We seem utterly terrible at reading/competing for the second ball and also at closing down the opposition, Tom Ince in particular is guilty of this. For a team intent on not attacking we need to do all the above quite a bit better, or we're going to get done in the same way we did last week.

As bad a refereeing performance as I've ever seen. Lost complete control, there'll be a big decision(penalty/red card) one way or another in the second half.

Poor so far. Minimal possession and nothing in the final third. If we weren't playing a team who struggle to score we would be miles behind by now. We will struggle so long as we allow the opposition so much possession and try to hit them on the break. On the break we can't get anywhere near the opposition box!

We haven't threatened their goal even once. We are lucky not to be losing- the ball isn't dropping for Sunderland but it will and I've will lose. Only positives are we're not losing and we tend to be better second half. What a boring team we are becoming.
