That's what we need to pull us up a but and create a bit of distance. And to be honest, although I'd like to see a bit more invention I think our gameplan is a sensible one. We are picking up points. Hopefully another point at St James' Park today. We are keeping ourselves in games which makes me think we May bag the odd point against the bigger sides.

It's weird - I don't have much confidence in us winning games but I do have confidence that we will keep ourselves in the games long enough to give ourselves a chance.

Keep the board ticking and hopefully we will nick that vital win.

It would be a particularly good weekend to do it, especially if some of the big boys keep their end of the bargain. Liverpool/City/United wins against Cardiff/Fulham/West Ham would do us the power of good, especially with Hull V WBA, Norwich V Sunderland and Villa V Stoke guaranteeing that points will be dropped elsewhere.

What chance Palace, Liverpool, Norwich, Man City and Man United all winning ? That would go along way to ensuring survival !

I've got a really bad feeling about Liverpool getting turned over by Cardiff....

Why? It would be the mother of shocks if that happened. It would only possibly happen if Liverpool's goal machine regularly misses the target.

Impossible. Liverpool are destroying much better teams than Cardiff. The only way Cardiff will even get a point is if Saurez bites his own feet off.

True but at this stage we need to be trying to stay above Sunderland and Norwich and a win today would guarantee us points in hand against at least one of them, possibly both. Adding very likely losses for Cardiff and Fulham and it would have the makings of a great weekend. Of course this is all assuming we somehow manage to win.
