Seeing a great girl at the moment who's soon to be ex husband has been stalking her using her iPhone. Their marriage broke down a few years ago after she found out he'd been shagging the babysitter for a year and a half. He's an alcoholic with mental health issues who has spent time inside in the past and is not the nicest of individuals. Pretty sure he used to hit her as well. He's managed to get hold of my number and sent a few spikey text messages even though they've been living apart for years.

They have a joint iTunes account and he's been constantly tracking her using "find my iPhone". He also has been and continues to read all her messages. Not that familiar with the icloud but she's tried changing her iCloud password and he's still managing to stalk her. If she switches off iMessages a lot of her text messages seem to fail. Their 2 kids share an iPad, he has an iPad and iPhone and she has an iPhone. Think all the devices are linked to the same account.

Can anyone from the Palace brethren (maybe staffie?) think of a solution? Can she set up her own new iTunes account and import all of her own and the kids' content? Would really appreciate any ideas. It's starting to freak me out a little!

See a solicitor, and then Apple in that order.

You probably want a restraining order and contact the Police.

People like this can be very dangerous, both to you, your missus and the their kids.

She can log into icloud.com and change the password to that account and all the "backup" details and that will effectivly cut husband out as he will not be able to access. Use a long complex password such as P@l@cei$theT0PZ and that should fix that.

It is not really good practice all using the same account and unless there are bought apps there is no real need to do so.

Thanks. Slightly complicated in that they ran a business together and also (I think) have access to each other's business emails which I think are linked to iTunes. She changed the iCloud password but I'm wondering if he read the email with the new password. She uses google maps a lot and is always losing her phone so is keen not to disable her location services if possible but if there's no way round it she will.

He's quite a manipulator. He's convinced her it was her fault he had the affair. She doesn't blame him for any of his behaviour excusing it with "he's not well" which I can understand to a point. He also convinced her he should be allowed to track her as he has a right to know where his kids are. He's been tracking her when he knows the kids are with the grandparents though so don't buy that and explained he can always text and ask!

You can change the email that icloud replies to so all she needs to do is reset passwords, secret questions and email and the husband will not be able to access it.

Personally I would start afresh with a different user and password for every account.
