Thinking of selling this year and might try Tepillo i.e. sell it myself. My House will sell itself, other houses here get snapped up, Estate Agents are just go betweens. I would also add I wouldn't sell to anyone who either hadn't sold theirs or didn't have the cash. Otherwise you can't buy either, well, you can but you will create a chain and you want to avoid that

Got my house valued by Frost, Streets Ahead and Barnard Marcus and recommend that you also get your place value by at least three. I couldn't believe the difference in values given or how Streets Ahead were clearly trying to rip me off for a quick sale. They valued my two bedroom flat £35K less that the others, I got asking price. You can definitely negotiate on the fees they charge for the sale. I went with Frost in the end and they've been perfectly fine throughout the deal.

Disagree regarding Cubitt and West, they've been brilliant dealing with us as purchasers. However Fox and Sons, although getting us a decent price for our flat have been truly terrible throughout. By the way, does anyone know if Foxes fees include vat?
