SSN reporting that personal terms are 80 per cent complete now. If we pull this off, this will be a real statement of intent. What utter nonsense. Personal terms are either complete or they aren't. Journos will be ringing SP and anyone who is anyone continually for updates. There'll talk to some, not others but will often give them something. So the 80% remark is likely to have come from someone inside the club to a journo as a holding response to questions. And if so it looks good. I respectfully disagree. If one piece of terms aren't agreed we're 100% incomplete. But how do you know what actual percentage is complete or indeed incomplete?
The only people that do are the ones with the pens.

Wonder if this will be the first club he's been at that doesn't have any coaches to take training.Might be why he signed because he won't have to train.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Yohan Cabaye - He is on his way' by Moose If you agree on 80% of the parts of a contract but not all of it then it is incomplete because it all hinges on that, therefore it is 100% incomplete. You have either signed and are an employee of CPFC or you are not. It's pulled out of the ars3 of some journo who knows jack squat.

Still can't believe this signing is happening.Would you of even dreamt of signing a player like this 5 years ago? I thought it was great when we signed a player like Mcarthur but this is unreal.It actually feels a bit strange seeing in the papers that little old Palace will be paying a player 80-100k a week.I always hoped but never thought I'd see us pay these transfer fees and wages and I love it.Has there ever been owners that are not middle eastern or Russian billionaires that have turned a club around so massively in such a short amount of time?
