I really hope that this deal comes off and Cabaye is unveiled as a Palace player during this coming week. The link with him seems to have been going on for ages: if the deal doesn't happen, what a waste of evetone's time. However, I fully trust Parrish etc...to put their money in the right places and not waste it. They haven't done too bad so far, have they ?

Being reported in L'equipe that Van Gaal is considering making a move for him as a successor to Carrick. I'm hoping this deal is already done.

The team I worry about is Southampton. If Schneiderlin moves on then Cabaye looks like a reasonable replacement. They have: bigger stadium, better facilities and can probably offer more money. We have: Pards, a fantastic atmosphere and London. I just hope we get this done soon. Edited by dg1937 (05 Jul 2015 6.20pm)

Lets hope Cabaye is not stringing us along in hope someone else comes in. lets hope he fancies London rather than the South coast or the North west.

I'm in Marrakesh at the moment and someone staying at my hotel works "in football" (in media) and said he had heard United are in talks with his agent and that they are trying to convince him he will get enough game time there. Hopefully just a rumour as I've seen nothing linking him to United.

Well Man U aren't in the betting at the mo so if you trust the aforementioned then you may as well get a punt on.
