Not the easiest thing to do but the right one for the peace process to move it on a wee bit further.

It's good for the peace. The Irish government like is so they can cash in on Northern tourists. The timing comes close to the death of Mountbatten and the bombing of Dublin and Monaghan.

It was the right thing to do to continue the peace.

Goodness only knows what Charles was thinking when he met Adams, who probably knows who killed his uncle.

My preference would be for Adams to be locked away for the rest of his life, however this process has to be adhered to and stuck to, despite the unsavoury pasts of some of those, on both sides, who are now viewed as 'elder statesmen'.

Charles must now know how his Dad felt when Hirahito came to visit.

Great from both sides.

How could it not be?

The people of NI deserve a chance at proper peace (and an end to dissident republicanism and loyalist criminality).

Just the loyalists are 'criminal' then?

Gerry Adams wasn't wearing a balaclava?

An historic moment; a photo captures history; and all people will focus on is that bl00dy cup of tea.

It shows just how far things have come since both of these men were born.
