Are they sending to your work or personal e-mail?

we don't have a work email only personal ones,
I have heard that a lot of mortgage and loan companies wont accept email printed payslips only original paper copies.

You have to consent to giving any personal info, such as personal emails, phone no's etc.

If your company states that you must provide this as its the law, then they are lying and as the previous poster suggested, ask them to put it in writing.

Many employers will provide log in details so you can log in to a company server from home to retrieve you payslip but your personal info "should" be you own.

If you don't feel comfortable giving out such personal info, they will have to provide another way of providing you with details of what you have been paid and companies are required to let you know what you have been paid for the work you do.

Sorry, there is just one small problem with email, it isn't secure.

Anything which can identify you as an individual and deeemed personally sensitive information should not be sent by email for that reason unless it has some form of encryption.

Exactly what Dweeb said. You would be amazed at the sniffer software out there that gets all sorts of info from your emails, pieces them together, and next thing you know your missus has been sold to a Saudi Arabian prince !

Over here, last time i applied for a mortgage, they wanted me to send all sorts of things including a copy of my SSN card (National id number) via an email to them !!! and this was a bank !!!
My wife works for BRINKS and i am constantly having to tell her that she cannot send certain things by email externally to their network.
Is it a wonder that data is constantly getting stolen ?
