Now that we seem to have finished our work in the transfer market - barring a last minute move for a centre back perhaps - it is surely time for AP and SP to turn their attention to the Crystals' line-up. Having lost the likes of Bronia, Nathalie and Claire to pastures new, we no longer have a squad worthy of a top 10 side. We need to get the scouts out to grass roots level - Whitgift Centre, Beckenham High Road, etc - and recruit some up-and-coming talent. This seems to be a blind spot for the management team and it needs to be addressed before the psychological knock-on effect starts costing us points. "The course of true love never did run smooth"

Probably not a good idea. David Pleat got into allsorts of bother trying to "recruit talent" in a similar way when he was at spurs.

From memory, Sunday's Match Programme contained an article on Crystal Palace Ladies - and their help towards 800 females getting football opportunities. There is probably scope for some to benefit from development match time at Selhurst Park.
