The reason there are a lot of so called allergies or intolerances is because the person doesn't like a certain food so will just play on that.

My sister has a few food allergies including gluten and sulphites which stop her from eating and drinking a large number of things that she likes

Nope.

I think people with nut allergies should wear gas masks and stop inconveniencing the rest of us.

Optimistic as ever

I get terrible hayfever, particularly from rapeseed. Yes, I am allergic to rape.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I have an alergy to alcohol. The moment i take it i break out in bullsh-t

Funny you should say that i got a phone call last week from a fella that i met for the first time the night before. Our wives are friends and we met up for a drink. Anyway the guy called me and said anything that he told me the night before was probably bollocks, He said as soon as he has had a few beers he cannot help himself but to make up lies. The more pissed he gets the more elabarate his lies are, He said he bought everyone in the pub a drink one night saying he had won 150k on the football, it was a lie. He is harmless with his lies and i found it quite funny to be honest, Am looking forward to him taking me over to Monte Carlo on his private jet to stay in his £5M mansion, sounds amazing.

Quote eritheagle at 16 Sep 2015 1.13pm

I used to always suffer with cold/flu like symptoms all year round.

The doctors kept giving me anti-biotics. I was sent to a ear, nose, throat specialist who was quite angry with the doctors as he said there was nothing physically wrong with me. He did send me for an allergy test who found as well as tree and plant pollen I am also quite allergic to dust and dust mites.

I just take allergy tablets all year round and most importantly I now know the symptoms better and don't need to go bother the doctor.

Also lactose intolerent so don't stand down wind of me when I'm eating a yoghurt!

I know exactly what you mean, I'd cut the grass and the next day I would feel totally wiped out, I tried antihistamines, now not a problem. Obviously I don't suffer as much as you.

Good advice, ta
