Or you could consider that a half fit Adebayor is a better option than a fully fit Gayle or Campbell or a banned Wickham.

You may well have a point there. Isn't Gayles contract up at the end of next season? Would make sense to get some money for him. The problem with having 3 good strikers is keeping them all happy when you only play one up top - players like Campbell (who love him or hate him, he's a decent footballer) who are happy as a third choice are hard to come by.
