It would be a problem if he was intentionally or unintentionally undermining her as a result of underlying predjudices against a female in a male dominated industry. Otherwise it's just chatting her up. In a sleazy way, granted but then even for feminists, it's still in 2016 the man's job to do so.

Of course that then draws in to question his professionalism or lack of. The banter defence may be dismissed but in a sport where it takes the form of sledging between players, what hope does a presenter have?

I was amused by the huge outrage this has provoked as Chris Gayle was deemed to be unprofessional in not treating his interviewer like a serious journalist but methinks there are double standards at work here as these girls are employed as eye candy and not serious journalists otherwise we would see the occasional fat ugly interviewer instead of the dolly birds used in Australia and in the recent masters series in USA.
