Why don't we try go for Gomis? In my opinion he would really suit our set up of having two quick and skilful wingers. He is a handful himself and brilliant in the air. For me this would make more sense then Adebayor as it would be a quality goal scorer on a permanent move. A bonus is his amazing entertaining goal celebrations!

Indeed !
Does the "Panther" on all fours imitating a panther !

He fainted at a Tottenham game last year and has a history of this, fainting 3 times whilst playing for Lyon.

Newcastle are after his services.

If he goes there I wouldn't want to be the owners trying to explain to the supporters another key player moving after Shelvey in that direction. Suspect it would be difficult to prise him away as unlike Shelvey no indication he wants out.

I've always thought he was a monster played well in France and had that patch where he was unplayable at Swansea. As for the fainting I've heard it's happened a few times but it's not a serious thing and it seems to happen every two or three years. Not to big a gamble for a decent prem forward.

Powerful, holds the ball up well and is good in the air.He does need a few chances to score but he keeps getting into good positions and doesn't shy away if he misses.

With 12 goals in 51 Apps for Swansea, I don't know about Panther, he's been more Pony than anything else...one of those fainting ponies at that!!

I was listening to a phone in today from a Swansea supporter about their struggle this season. He said they badly miss Bony, especially for his link up play.

Gomes simply doesn't have the same ability to bring other players into the game, and that is why Siguardsson has been less effective this year.

Hence why we should be making moves for Bony IMHO

Yeah bony would be immense but how much of a hit would they take on him ? Can't see them selling to us for 10mil or whatever plus wages must be sky high surely?

Yeah so if he does leave or they sell there going to want 20 mil or he'll end up sold to a foreign team I should imagine.
