It would not totally shock me. Doesn't fit in at Liverpool and I think they know they are in a squad rebuilding situation and this time, will have the patience to get it right. If Klopp doesn't want him long-term (and he probably doesn't) and they don't realistically expect to finish in the top 4 this season (which in reality they probably don't) then their season boils down to the two Cups and Klopp my well doubt that Benteke, on current form and given the way Klopp plays, will help them to win either of them. If they could recoup 25 million or so that they can invest for a summer rebuild, they might just take it. And I suspect that we could afford that amount too, if we really wanted to. None of this is to say I think it'd be a good move or whatever, but I do think he could be had and I do think if we do bring anyone in today, it will be a big move and not a small one. Still, all that said I doubt it.
