To be fair to Hrolf, he more than holds his own on this forum, and it is difficult to envisage him being a shrinking violet on the BBS. Also others have complained of bullying on BBS and have come over to HOL to be able to indulge in free speech - "The Judge" is one I can remember of recent note. He was also followed by his BBS nemesis "Ghosteagle" who attempted to troll him on here. I think the HOL is fair to both sides and I have great debates with your good self Darth Eagle and we both know when to step back. It seems the BBS has allowed itself to be fashioned along North Korean lines compared to the laissez faire regime on here. I don't post on BBS because I don't like the visual style of it, whereas our forum is bright and modern looking I think? The HOL is a far more civilized place.

The difference between the sites is that the HOL would never let posters insult and abuse others to the extent where all out war begins. There is also less political prejudice from the mods on here. They do, by and large, try to remain neutral regardless of their own persuasions. P.S. Breagle is a bigot.

Hoof is a good example and I hoped to turn over a new leaf with you. However you ignored my hand of friendship so I assumed you were content to carry on the way things were. Then I found out you had had multiple incarnations on the BBS and had been banned over 20 times. I then understood what kind of character you really are and was unsurprised at your reluctance to reciprocate. It's fine though, not a biggie for me. You can be whoever you want to be and have however many accounts as you like, here or on the BBS. Makes no difference to me either way.
