Just as a matter of interest, what would happen to anyone who named her on holmsdale?

The website could be closed down and/or the person taken to court and fined I dunno £10,000 but would be a hero to many.

Tbh I wouldn't give her any more publicity than is necessary otherwise she will turn up on all manner of news 'interest' programmes spouting.

Finally got it thanks to Tyke Exile!

Agree with Ray about cases like this in general, although in this instance I blame the CPS for bringing a prosecution which had 0% chance of conviction.

You have now, probably the reason for her accusations.

Eh? How is that probably the reason for her accusations?

It's not the chance of conviction that's the issue; it's that it had 0% basis in reality as an accusation (which I'm sure is what you meant).

The stats on rape cases are horrendous. Something like less than 30% are reported, and the conviction rate is below 5%. That's 5% of 30%, or 1.5% of all rapes that actually end up in a conviction.

Now, studies (in the U.S.) have shown a greater willingness among victims to report their assault; and some of this has been credited to the publicity around Bill Cosby. However, the CPS pursuing this one was absolutely the wrong thing to do from any and every angle and can only hinder progress towards rape victims getting a fair hearing and a hope of a conviction.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

According to the live leak report on this assault, what this actress alleged to have happened would be impossible to achieve. It is an absolute disgrace that those at the CPS are not facing disciplinary action, their boss, the sack and the actress a custodial sentence equivalent to that of the poor man she accused.

I'd like to see them try and extradite me. I would launch a fierce Abu Hamza type defence hiring LegalEagle as my brief and claim my Yuman rights had been infringed.

Now here's interesting: I've just checked her Twitter profile and, to my surprise, not only is it still up, but she was tweeting yesterday afternoon. Either she is incredibly brazen and not in the least ashamed, or maybe it wasn't her?
