Listening to Radio 5 this morning and the point was made that six minutes after the vote to renegotiate parts of the withdrawal agreement was announced the response came back from the EU that there would be no renegotiation.

27 member states yet important decisions seem to be made by just one man without any consultation with anyone else

Heard today many brits forced to return home as they will lose free health care, we currently have a reciprocal arrangement with Europe, quite a useful thing to have when you travel to Europe, we've kissed that goodbye

Free from the shackles....

Not straw clutching are you?
You can always get very cheap travel insurance. Still hopefully EU nationals here will lose rights to free NHS treatment...how much will that save?

...having in his hand a clear mandate from all 27 member states to say just what he said.

If Trump did it, you'd say it was strength.

Project Pussay Fear strikes again

Brits going to Spain on holiday will need to take out travel insurance which is something that anyone with half a brain is already doing.

Ex pats may lose their rights to free health care in the event of a no deal Brexit but Britain and |Spain are currently working on a deal which is yet to be ratified.

British ex pats living in Spain are huge contributors to the Spanish economy and the Spanish government won't do anything to upset the applecart

I'm amazed that having never posted anything in connection with Trump you would know what my opinion of him is.

I’d probably only be concerned if I was LIVING in an EU country whose citizens are a bigger drain on the U.K. club frees than British citizens are on theirs.

I really wouldn’t be concerned if living in or travelling regularly to Western Europe or Mediterranean countries we holiday in although I’d have insurance with regards to those countries and their government debt issues.
