I was gutted as I actually got a ticket at one point online, but unlike before it wouldn't allow me to get my mates ticket who is on my friends and family list. Obviously the system has changed as we have always got each other's tickets/allocation before to ensure we sit together. Still, as others have said, at least we can watch it on the TV!

Been trying since 09.00 on line this morning,no joy.Pretty fed up 2700 points.Tried via phone all I got was Glad All Over repeated and no place in queue.Be interesting to see how many come for sale on this site.

Alright folks, I was 400 points off the target of points needed for an away ticket for reading. Since they've now sold out I'd pay over the odds for one so anyone who has got a spare please give me a message. Been all the other FA Cup games including saints away. Spurs & Stoke & I'd really like to get to this one, Got the day booked off work in advance so anyone who's got one just message me, cheers

To be fair to the club, they opened the box office at 8:30 this morning and they needed to sell to people queuing up before they released the last few tickets on the internet. Shame we weren't given more tickets.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Should have spent £100 online in the clubshop increasing your points to 2800 then when the stuff arrives send it back,

Tickets were supposed to be on sale from 09.00.If you live close to the ground thats fine I live in Newbury 70 miles away so was at a total disadvantage,why should locals get prefference seems a little unfair as I probably had more points (2710).Born in Croydon supported Palace since 1953.Not a happy bunny.

Good point bubble,I'll remember that in future,but did think that 2700 would be ok for a ticket.Cheers, will have to watch the match in my local pub,will be the only Palace fan,all the locals that don't even like football will be supporting Reading.

It's not perfect but by and large the loyalty points system means that those who go regularly get a ticket. Harsh on some, but I haven't heard anyone come up with a better solution.
The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money. |
