Mod here. The reason this thread is in Palace Talk and not General Talk is that the subject is that Mr. Farage happens to support Palace. His politics, whatever they may be, have nothing to do with it. By the way, I'm and proud American progressive liberal. Any problems? My complaint department is 1 millimeter square and the entire complaint must fit within it. Now back to your regularly scheduled thread.

I fully agree with this. It seems that there is an absolute intolerance to any views that fall outside of the status quo. It's more depressing to read some of the usual bile spewed comments on here than the fact that Nigel Farage supports our great club. He's hardly Adolf Hitler is he? From what I've seen of him and how he conducts himself I reckon he's the kind of person who it would be good to go for a pint with. At least he's interesting and has the courage of his convictions. I dread the day we're all brain washed into thinking like Liberal sheep with no thoughts of our own. Eddie Izzard also has quite strong political views on the other side of the political spectrum, but that's ok supposedly.

Unlike Farage Eddie Izard has not made a career out of racist scapegoating of migrants and Muslims. Farage may not be Hitler but he has certainly copied his tactics by trying (and failing) to win power by attacking minorities.

No, Nigel Farage wants to stop the flow of immigration full stop. It's got nothing to do with immigration for whites and not for Africans and Asian people. You almost sound racist in the other way there. I actually agree with the policy. We have got far too many people here at the moment and until we sort out the mess we should halt immigration. Why should we have to put up with this mass influx? It needs to be controlled. It's common sense, nothing to do with racism.

Its not common sense its racist b*****ks. Let's deport Cabaye, Souare, Adebayor, Lee etc!

"polititically correct"? That sounds a bit sexist to me.

Have met Nige on a couple of occasions through my membership of UKIP and he whatever anyone thinks of him tells it as it is . Have known of his allegiance to Palace but I think that may be more because he diddnt like the other lot at Dulwich college .

As long as he dosnt turn up at Wembley declaring life long support I'll take his declaration of being an Eagle as a bit of fun with reporters .

Vote leave .

Farage does not "tell it as it is", he tells his perception of how "it is".

Your spelling and grammar could do with some work too.

Vote remain.

No, it's not racist. Grow up. It's wanting to control who comes here. It's totally insane to have uncontrolled immigration. This will end in disaster the way its going. I don't believe Farage to be a racist, like I've said calling somebody racist means absolutely nothing these days. It's just old hat and a cynical tactic to close down sensible debate.
As for the players, they come here and make a decent living. No one has a problem with skilled people coming here, what a pathetic thing to say. Where is your sense of proportion because you evidently don't have one.

No but he regularly turns up at Labour rallies telling us how we should think and patronising and belittling the white working class. He's got strong views in the other direction, but as it conforms to trendy left wing orthodoxy that's ok.
I used to be an undecided voter who would vote for who offered me the best deal but over the years the left have become dictators and foisted stuff on the people that no one wants like political correctness, mass immigration and signing powers away to Europe. If that was in their manifesto they wouldn't have won a single election.

Can you honestly not understand what he's saying? Are you the spelling police. How patronising that you pull him up on spelling. Get a life.
VOTE BREXIT.

VOTE BREXIT.

The Brexit debate can be summed up quite nicely by looking at who is on whose side

Remain: Obama, Merkel, Cameron, Hollande, Xi Jinping, Blair, the OECD, the IMF, the World Bank.... I could go on.

Brexit: Putin, Marine le Pen, Farage, Galloway, Boris etc.

It is clear to anyone they should vote to stay if they care for the long and short run prosperity, and global importance of our great country.

All the people who are in the remain camp are fully paid up members of the establishment, they don't want a change to the status quo because they're on the payroll. I would like YOU to give me a compelling argument, without sarcastic put downs and left wing dogma, on why we should remain.

I have never heard him do that. Do you have you a source?
