Got back from a week in NYC on Friday. Suggest you go to Julianna's in Broooklyn for the best pizza anywhere, ever. Brilliant view just down the street too. Like others said, stay outside Manhattan and take metro to save a lot of money. Finally, if you want to splash out go to Gallagher's just off 7th and 49th or thereabouts, brilliant steak and best service. If you are with friends/family then go to Tony's de Napoli for big Italian sharing plates.
