So tonight has seen the introduction of the new EFL trophy format with Premier League B teams included. In my opinion this is one of the worst decisions in English football; attendances have hit rock bottom and the competition has become even more meaningless!!! While not the greatest competition in history I've always respected how this competition gives League One and Two clubs the chance to play at Wembley - what a waste if a Premier League B team takes their spot. For anyone interested here is an article about tonight: [Link] What does everyone else think?

Only one game with a report on BBC site, Wimbledon v Swansea U21`s. Attendance 461.
Is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour? [Link] |

Should've left them to it. The whole point of the competition was for a lower league club to have a shot at Wembley.
Optimistic as ever |
