In NY last week when players were away on International duty - not all of course but you need them on the training ground etc so it can be disruptive.Just because he is away for a good reason doesn't mean he cannot continue analysing games/opponents/players etc and be in contact with his coaching staff etc etc.We do live in a global communications world ! Lol what is this Jolly-gate? Courtside seats at the nba, hob nobbing with media luvvies like morgan bacon et al. Not crime of the century by any means, but he doesnt give of the air of a man under pressure, which considering his win percentagr in 2016 is 17pct i feel he should be a little more focussed on turning that round... And for the record im not even anti pardew. Purely on the basis that i dont see any better options out there currently. However i would give him 5 games and expect to see significNt improvement. Without that i cant see how he can keep his job

Based on his comments after the Liverpool game that conceding from set pieces is "not us" he doesn't do any analysis at all. I know it's only an interview etc and there aren't a pile of alternatives but that seriously smacks of a man who doesn't have his eye on the ball.
