Agreed.
Like 'ze pantz-vetterz' in Germany, it's all getting a bit silly.

I kinda know what you mean.

I remember trying to convince my Mum that she should get behind Neil Kinnock....the old 'white heat' speech and all that....So it wasn't always like this.

The older I get the further to the right I seem to get...Sometimes I find myself defending things even I am doubtful of...probably because the alternatives are even worse......Still, If I don't stem this tide I'll soon be drawing a toothbrush moustache on me mush.

I must admit....I have started to wonder about still paying for the BBC. I don't really watch much now.

I think some of its radio is worth keeping in the public domain...the world service...radio 4 and other worthy parts.

But since John Sullivan died....what talent works for them?....They even turned Doctor Who into a lefty.....They couldn't make a grown up drama or comedy if their tiny genitals depended on it.

The BBC lost trust as an independent thinking institution a long time ago....It should have ensured that its staff were balanced between right and left sympathies....But it didn't and it's packed full of lefties.

They are currently engaged in some 'diversity' re-balancing boll*cks at the BBC.....Which is nice language for sacking white males...Apparently all diversity is welcome at the BBC....Unless it's diversity of thought.

Trump is nothing to do with left or right wing though is he.

Accurately reporting his bizarre claims and attacks on various people and groups isn't particularly left wing of the BBC.

Also, for an organisation that's 'packed full of lefties' it's interesting that it's senior politics journalists are Andrew Neil and Laura Kuenssberg

Wasn't the 'white heat' speech Wilson?
But I know what you mean. I remember lecturing to my parents as to why they should vote Labour. They tended to just laugh and say 'you'll learn'. How correct they were.

Yep...getting my wires crossed...It was Kinnock's 85 conference speech that I was....rather badly mis-recalling.

And that's pretty much exactly what my old Mum said back to me.

The BBC's treatment of Trump has been incredibly biased.

Andrew Neil isn't left wing I grant you....He's a rare bird amongst the flock....But Laura Kuenssberg??? She is so right wing that she asked that ridiculous question at the May/Trump meeting.

You have a funny idea of what right wing is.
You would probably fit right in working there.

Why is it a ridiculous question?

Do you not think Donald Trump is making strange, wild, worrying statements on a daily basis? Are you not that concerned that he's happy to just lie to people's faces over and over again?

As for Kuenssberg, she is most definitely right wing, as evidenced by here coverage of British politics and, in particular, the Labour party.

Why are the ultra Right so paranoid and so low self-esteemed?

It's like they think nobody important is out to get them.

I think Trump definitely has been engaged in talking truth as he sees it...but also half truth and sometimes just lying and s*** talking.

Apart from the s*** talking he isn't any different to most politicans coming out of America. However Trump is a nationalist and it is this which has seen him get...what I would describe as unacceptably biased and aggressive reporting from a left centred reporting base....Which unfortunately, as the BBC is publicly funded, the BBC is.
