Yep, no more derogatory name calling of a man who is doing his utmost to save our arses.

Yes. Don't even think about calling him Alardarse either!

The bigest offender, other than the BFS nickname, is when Hodgson is referred to as Woy.

I suppose I do call him Big Sam as well, but that to me is almost like calling anyone "the Big Man" regardless of their size. I get called the Big Man at work sometimes but I'm 5'8" and slim. So it's not a pop at his weight for me.

I'm probably getting a bit carried away with Hodgson and his very slight speech impediment.
Makes me think of Elmer Fudd....'scweewy wabbit.'

Babs and Clean Willie were in love they said....

By the way - how many games did Pardew lose on the spin?

Its not the grammar its the insult to all the people out there that work for a living .

And we still need a striker

While we're at it we should also stop referring to him and her for fear of upsetting any transgender/no gender.

Or the over used term "Gaffer" just pis*es me off no end. A Gaffer is an Electricians Boss and has nothing to do with Football. Especially comical when foreign players who have English as a second language use the term. Like copying your homework from the dumb kid at school.

So, no Big Fat Sam's Red and Blue Army then? Pity as it had a certain ring to it.

If people referred to him as Fat Sam or Big Fat Sam before be joined us, it would be a bit hypocritical to change just because he manages Palace.

Not to his face, obviously, that would be daft.

My thoughts exactly

All good. Nothing bad.

I'm sorry but this really bugs me. If you're too lazy to type 'Sam Allardyce' or 'Allardyce' then the correct abbreviation for OUR manager is SA.

When you consider Sam has come here to do his best, hasn't said anything against the fans and has just had arguably the best transfer window and is the best chance of us staying up, I'm not sure why some are feeling the need to label him BFS aka Big Fat Sam.

This is an absurd way to treat any member of our team. It's not like we got rid of a fan favourite in Pardew, most people wanted him gone. It's also not like Allardyce has ever been a Brighton fan or slated our club/fans in the past.

Just because some of you lived in fantasy land and wanted Mourinho to step down from United to lead us to a 6th placed finish, now is the time to support the man we got in, the man who has never been relegated. The man who has now got only our second clean sheet of the season.

We should back every one at our club and give everyone a second chance now the window has closed including Townsend etc.

Good luck SA!

call him what I like. What you gonna Do? Come round with the name police and clap me in irons?
Dear oh dear, some have too much time on their hands

OLD WOMAN!
(I'm a man actually)
OH SORRY, OLD MAN!
(I'm only 43)
Well I can't just call you "MAN"
(You could call me Dennis)
I didn't know your name was Dennis
